Programs

The Boroondara Stroke Support Group has instigated the following programs in conjunction with local organisations to improve the quality of life of stroke survivors and carers. Currently there are 7 Health and Fitness programs in progress:

Members playing Lawn Bowls
  • Regenerate:  Gym and strength training program
  • Revitalize:  Ballroom dancing program
  • Rebound:  Lawn bowls program
  • Cooking:  Learn food values, budgeting and meal preparation
  • Computer:  Learn basic computer skills, emailing and surf the Internet
  • Singing:  Join our choir of stroke survivors
  • Counselling:  Join our counselling sessions run by the Cairnmillar Institute
