BSSG Carers' Information
A vital role in the recovery of all stroke survivors is played by their carer, (or co-survivor). The carer not only has to take care of many tasks that the stroke survivor can no longer do, but they often make big sacrifices in their personal, family and social lives, as well as in their careers, to provide that support. We, as stroke survivors, owe our carers a huge debt of gratitude.

A special Carers' Cell has been established within the Boroondara Stroke Support Group to address the special needs of the carers of stroke survivors.
