Meetings
The Boroondara Stroke Support Group meetings are held at the times and location indicated below. The venue is disabled-friendly with an accessible toilet, disabled parking facilities, a drop-off area for buses, cars and taxis and is serviced by public tram transport. Interpreter services are available on request.
Members of the group are encouraged to participate actively. The Group endeavours to make meetings interesting and interactive by discussing a variety of relevant topics. Past guest speakers have included health professionals, cooking instructors and many others.
Activities such as cooking and craft demonstrations and organised outings have provided social and mental stimulations for stroke survivors and their carers. Members are invited to submit their ideas for future meetings.
